This brush isn't heavy, but it is well constructed. With some brushes, the dogs just don't sit still, but they do for this brush. I like the feel of it, the push button to engage the teeth, brush, and then push the button to retract the teeth. Makes clean up easy and for an OCD person like myself that makes me smile!
